Arrived to a warm welcome from Beverly, who made our stay feel special. The hotel's charming decor made each moment delightful, and the location was perfect for exploring.

However, the room was small, and the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable during the warm nights. The facilities felt dated, which took away from the experience.

great location

i had a great stay at saint etienne. the staff, especially cynthia, were super friendly. the large double room was comfy, and the shower was really nice. it's located close to the tomb of william the conqueror and nearby attractions like chateau de caen. bonus, there's a fantastic french restaurant just around the corner!

I recently stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room, and the hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk to all the main attractions in the city. The staff were incredibly helpful, making check-in a breeze and always ready to assist with recommendations. However, the parking situation was a bit challenging, as the only available options were street parking.

It was just a balanced option for a day tour in Caen and great for the money. The location was perfect, right in the heart of downtown near restaurants and cafes. Make sure to plan for a bit of a hunt for street parking.
